Meet Allyson
Hello! I am Allyson, owner of The Maid’s Quarters Bed, Breakfast and Tearoom.
I am a Pennsylvania native, originally from Allentown, PA who grew up in the kitchen with my mom and Grammy. Since the age of 18, I have wanted to own a bed and breakfast. My journey began in 2007 when I took my college internship at a B&B in Bethlehem. Following that, I worked for two different B&B’s until 2010. In the beginning of 2011, I had the opportunity to move to Pottsville, PA and open The Maid’s Quarters where I am began my 15th year in April 2025.
The Maid’s Quarters has grown from a 2 room B&B to a 4 room B&B with an on-site tearoom. We have hosted guests from 47 of the 50 states and 22 different countries. The tearoom can hold up to 25 people at one time for private gatherings such as birthday parties, baby/ bridal showers, and group luncheons. We host afternoon tea once a month and various themed “high teas” throughout the year. We pride ourselves in making everything from scratch using as many local ingredients as we can. We also make all natural products right on site- laundry detergent powder, foaming hand soaps, room sprays, room deodorizers, thieves cleaning spray. Click the store link below to view these items.
